Sea Wolf

Almost as soon as I discover CriticalMetrics.com I discover a new gem. Sea Wolf is a small side project band coming out of LA. The silky and inviting style of Alex Church pulls you into the songs as fast and comforting as a warm bed after a long night. In fact that is a phrase that I would use to describe this music = bed. The songs are not overly complex, they are not striving for attention but instead are simple delightful tunes that welcome you to either pay attention or just bounce your head in enjoyment. This is my favorite type of music - easy. While I do appreciate the complexities of a masterfully written poetic song sometimes I prefer my music to be innocuous and kind.
